Mayor Hickenlooper unveils 2010 One Book, One Denver selection

Mayor John Hickenlooper and the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs today unveiled the 2010 One Book, One Denver selection, as determined by public vote. This year’s choice is The Help by Kathryn Stockett.  Details on a new scavenger hunt, partnerships and associated programming were shared by the Mayor at Denver Public Library’s main branch downtown. 

As an ongoing, key collaborator in this program, the Denver Public Library will circulate 1,500 copies of The Help through its system. Almost 600 of those copies have already been reserved by One Book, One Denver enthusiasts.
