County Court

John M. Marcucci, Presiding Judge of the Denver County Court (seated), approves the final plans with Court Administrator Matt McConville to relocate the civil division into the City and County Building.
Although the move may appear costly at first, the relocation and merger with the traffic division will save the citizens of Denver over $500,000 per year in rent and added security expenses.  More importantly, it will allow the court to operate far more efficiently by improving customer service, streamlining operations to combine many employee functions and eliminate waste.

The City and County of Denver’s third branch of government is comprised of 17 judges, 15 magistrates and 245 staff members to serve your judicial needs for civil, small claims, traffic and criminal cases occurring within our great city.

The Denver County Court proudly serves the community through numerous outreach programs. Relevant record information on all civil, criminal, general sessions and traffic cases can now be accessed online by clicking on the 'Search County Court Records' link to the left. The court’s Warm Welcome Child Care Center is available free of charge to individuals desiring a safe place to leave their infants and children while they are in court.

Honorable John M. Marcucci
Presiding Judge
