DENVER, CO – Starting today, May 16, Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) is moving on to the next phase of reimagining play at Denver’s historic City Park Playground by putting on display to the public for comment and input the eight different potential designs for a new and innovative playground that will be designed for all generations to use and enjoy.

Report Shows City of Axum Park Usage Skyrockets Following Improvements
Park sees 500 percent increase in usage since $500,000 renovation effort
Denver - The renovation of Northeast Park Hill’s City of Axum Park has created a stunning success story for Denver Parks and Recreation and Denver Environmental Health as a recently released report by the Center for Research Strategies shows the park’s usage has increased more than 500 percent since the city completed a nearly $500,000 overhaul in October of 2010.
