Community Recreation

Swimming Pools 
Indoor & Outdoor Swimming Pools
Denver parks and Recreation operates 16 outdoor pools and 12 indoor pools, including children's spraygrounds, lap and therapy pools.
Recreation Center Facility Rentals
Rent a variety of room sizes at 26 Denver locations.
Boating on Denver Lakes
Boating is allowed on three of Denver Parks & Recreation lakes: Sloan’s Lake, Berkeley Lake in northwest Denver and Smith Lake in Washington Park.

Highlighted Programs

Learn to Ski and Ride
Denver Parks and Recreation is once again offering $30 ski and snowboarding trips for youth throughout the 2011/2012 ski season.  The Outdoor Recreation team will begin taking reservations today for the popular youth skiing and snowboarding programs. Read more

My Place Program
Denver Public School students attending elementary and middle schools where 75% or more students receive free and/or reduced lunch are eligible. Read more.

ALL Denver recreation centers will close today, Friday, February 3rd at 3:00 p.m.


Saturday, February 4th
The recreation centers will adhere to normal operating hours and all scheduled classes will be held.
All recreational youth sports are cancelled for Saturday, February 4th.
