Resolutions are acts of City Council similar to ordinances, but subject to a lesser level of formalized procedure and limited to addressing only certain matters. Resolutions do not require mayoral approval.
Resolutions adopted, as available (see explanatory note, below):
Note: Beginning the week of 5/17/2010, each record in this Resolutions Book includes at the beginning of the Title/Description a Resolution No. that is the official document identification, but which is inconsistent with the "CC (City Clerk) Res No." numbering system. This is due to the City Council's May 2010 adoption of a new, divergent numbering system that is not consecutive.
The City Clerk Division has no control over this development but recognizes the advantages of maintaining consecutive numbering. Thus, the City Clerk Division now uses CC Res No in continuation of the historic Resolution Number convention and as the primary index for reference purposes.
