The judicial branch of the City and County of Denver is comprised of seventeen judges and sixteen magistrates within the Denver County Court. The goal of this third branch of government is to administer justice fairly and impartially.
The Denver County Court administers justice when Denver municipal ordinances and state misdemeanor statutes are violated and when petty offenses occur in the City and County of Denver. The Court also resolves disputes between citizens in civil actions filed in its civil division.
The Denver County Court is dedicated to providing effective and convenient services to the citizens of the City and County of Denver.
